Surrender & Sovereignty: Carmel Sessions

November 25, 2024

What does it mean to live humble, responsible and responsive lives in a divisive and uncertain context?

What does it look like to be faithful Jesus followers in a culture that values certainty and assertiveness?

Join us for three evening sessions about exploring what it means to live as whole-hearted, whole-minded, and whole-bodied followers of Jesus. Using biblical narratives and characters, Wayne Tomalty will lead us in exploring the sovereignty of God and our response of surrender.

INSTRUCTOR BIO

Wayne Tomalty, M.Div., has a deep commitment and love for Mount Carmel Bible College, having previously served as both President and Old Testament instructor for several decades. Through his many roles, Wayne knows that we live in a tumultuous world where slipping into a fearful panic is easy. However, as followers of Jesus, he sees how we are invited to walk in step with the Almighty Creator and Sustainer. In these sessions, Wayne invites us to keep adjusting our perspective on what is going on around us.
