Meet Ken Marshman: Mount Carmel’s new Interim President Elect

Ken Marshman is the husband of Denise, the father of Lucia, a second-generation Mount Carmel alumnus (‘98-‘99), and an accomplished project and operations manager with nearly two decades of experience leading teams in the Alberta construction industry. Ken and his family worship at Sherwood Park Alliance Church, where Ken currently serves as Chair of the Board of Elders. Ken brings a passion for discipling young people, an effective leadership approach and administrative skill set, and strong experience successfully ushering organizations through seasons of transition.

In this two-year role, Ken will oversee all aspects of the ongoing operations of the school, including recruitment and the delivery of the program, while also facilitating the visioning process that was announced in an earlier mailout. That process will see focused input collected from across the Carmel constituency as we seek to discern together what God has in store for Mount Carmel Bible College. The Board of Directors believes that, with his unique experience and giftings, Ken is well equipped to lead the school through this exciting season.

Please keep Ken and his family in your prayers as they take this step of faith! And stay tuned for more information on the visioning process, which will kick-off in the coming weeks.
